Workshop Description: Join us for a hands-on leatherworking class where you’ll make your own quality leather latigo from start to finish with guidance from Cadie of Brassy Bit. Whether you’re brand new to leatherwork or already have some experience, this class is designed to help you learn, create, and leave with a functional piece you’ll be proud to use in the arena or on the ranch.

Materials to bring: Notebook and pencil for notes.  

Workshop Instructor: Cadie Cullen is one of the co-owners of Brassy Bit, along with her twin sister Calie. Cadie has spent over a decade working with Cliff Langerud to learn about making and repairing saddles so that she can live her dreams instead of being a wage slave for Corporate America.  In 2019, CL Custom Saddles was launched as the opportunity arose to purchase Cliff’s saddle making business. Cadie is passionate about leather work and is committed to helping those taking up the trade because of the help she has been given. She has said many times, "There is room at the table for everyone" and lives this mantra daily.
