Classes and Events

Redneck Fancy offers a variety of hands-on workshops including leather craft, mohair weaving and hat bar events. Each event you will walk away with a beautiful piece of art that you created.  Whether you are a beginner or experienced crafter, our classes provide the skills and inspiration to bring your vision to life!

 If you are looking for a unique party idea for bachelorette parties, birthday parties, or just getting the gang together for some fun- reach out to create a custom class. Some class ideas for parties include:

  • Hat Bar event (up to 25 participants)
    • Join us for a fun, interactive experience where you design your own unique hat (cowboy, rancher, fedora, etc.). You can bring in your own or purchase one from us to design. This experience is about putting your personality into your hat. No experience necessary.
  • Mohair Roping Rein class (4-10 participants)
    • Join us for a hands-on learning experience to make a mohair roping rein. This is a two-day event since you need time to braid the rein to your desired length. No experience required. Just need to bring in your own clothespins or chip clips.
  • Mohair Cinch Class (3-8 participants)
    • Join us for a fun hands-on experience where you'll weave your very own 17-strand straight mohair cinch. We will walk step by step through the process of weaving the base and adding design to your cinch. We use the highest quality materials so that your horse will thank you. No experience required.
  • Leather Rose Class (4-12 participants)
    • This hands-on class allows you to really dig into your artistic side. All materials and tools are provided, and you will walk away with a beautiful leather rose that can be used in various ways (wild rag slide, lapel pin, add to your cowboy hat or horse tack, etc.). No prior experience necessary.
  • Lariat Wreath Class (4 - 20 participants)
    • Design your very own lariat wreath in a fun and laidback environment. Perfect for making your ideal wreath for a particular season or even as a gift. No prior experience necessary.
  • Saddle Pouch Class (4 - 8 participants)
    • In this experience you will customize the perfect saddle pouch or water bottle holder for your ideal use on the trails, picking from various leather and cowhide options. No worries, the instructor will sew the final product after the participants pick out all of their customizations including hardware and conchos. We can bling it up or keep it simple.
